I had to power cycle the laptop today, because I couldn't shut down.<p> There were two processes that I couldn't kill. Force Quit didn't work, Command-Option-Esc window and quitting it that way didn't work.<p> It's always bugged me that in Windows there were unkillable processes, usually because the process was stuck inside a driver.
