I picked up a 12" PowerBook G4. <p> It's a whole different world, using a Mac. I'm still figuring out how to do basic things, but I'm starting to find my way around. <p> So far I'm really happy with it. It's fast, quiet, and the AirPort wireless is great - better than any other (PC) laptop I've used. The two-finger scrolling on the track pad, which I expected to be mostly a gimmick, works perfectly. I use it constantly.<p> I don't have any developer tools yet, and I'm not even really sure where to start. One of my goals is to work with <a href=http://www.go-mono.com>Mono</a> - I know MonoDevelop has been made to work on the Mac, and there are C# wrappers for Carbon, so that's going to be one of my first goals.Thu, 01 Sep 2005 19:17:08 GMT
